Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne is happy with the tight battle for the Premier League title this season.
After City won at a canter last term, they have suffered a reality check this season.
Liverpool are favourites to win the league, as they have a four point lead over the Citizens.
But De Bruyne is happy to face the competition head on.
"There's two teams and even Tottenham, who have so many points at this stage of the season," said De Bruyne after a win over Huddersfield at the weekend.
"It's quite remarkable because in a lot of seasons you would already be 10 or 12 points ahead, but this season it's tight and I like it.
"I like it to be competitive. In the end that's what it's all about."
