Bordeaux striker Marouane Chamakh has made a 'come and get me' plea to Premiership clubs.
Tottenham, Manchester City and Newcastle United were among clubs linked with Chamakh over the summer.
"When I enter the pitch with Les Girondins, I think of my family, my friends and of the fans," Chamakh told Le Parisien.
"What I try to do is represent my Moroccan roots the best I can and I also feel proud of coming from the country and playing for the great city of Bordeaux since 10 years of age.
"I do not lack anything here because I achieved all my dreams. But if one day, unfortunately, I am to leave, it will be for England.
"I fancy the English league."
