Benfica midfielder Enzo Perez is back on the agenda of Premier League clubs.
The exciting Argentina international was linked with Manchester United and Valencia during the World Cup, before committing to Benfica for the new season.
However, Valencia, with Peter Lim's takeover now confirmed, are planning a fresh move for Perez in January.
But local newspaper Superdeportes reports Lim will face competition from Tottenham and Manchester City for the skilful midfielder.
Perez, 28, won the Portuguese league's Player of the Year last season.
