Manchester City captain Kolo Toure was pleased with the clean sheet and the three points in their win at Wolves.
Toure, who is now off the African Cup of Nations for what could be as long as a month, was delighted to have signed off with a third straight win and second successive clean sheet.
"It was a really tough game but we know that if we defend well together we will always score goals," he told City's website.
"We are glad we have the three points. We have been working since the new manage came on a tactical game. We are doing well so far. This was a second clean sheet and I hope we keep going like that while I am away."
