Manchester City's want-away Carlos Tevez is furious over claims his transfer demand is down to money.
The Daily Star says Tevez actually REJECTED a whopping one-off payment of £2.5m which City were prepared to pay as a bonus just for staying there this season.
Last night the player went public and pulled no punches over his hatred for certain members of the hierarchy, believed to include City executive chairman Garry Cook and football administrator Brian Marwood.
Tevez said: "I hugely resent the management's suggestions that I have been unduly influenced by others. It was my decision and mine alone.
"I am disappointed that the management should now see fit to try to portray the situation in another light.
"My relationship with certain executives and individuals at the club has broken down and is now beyond repair. I do not wish to expand on this at this stage. They know, because I have told them."
