Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany says next season's title race will be wide open.

City were Manchester United's only challengers last season - but captain Kompany expects other teams to get stronger.

He said: "I've seen every single club strengthen every season. Teams can come from nowhere and win the league.

"You cannot rule out Liverpool, Tottenham and even Everton were really good this year. Then you have the usuals like Arsenal, Chelsea and United.

"But there is a chance to strengthen our team and compete again for the league."
