Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany fancies winning the Europa League this season.
Belgium international Kompany, 25, maintains there could still be another twist.
He said: "It's all a learning curve for us. If we go through, which we still believe we can, I think we can have a lot to say in this competition.
"If we do qualify from this group it would be such a buzz for the team.
"It would be such a massive lift of confidence because we'd know we've come through the hardest group in the Champions League.
"All we can do is win our next game and hope.
"We have to hope for a good game off Villarreal to help us.
"But if not, then a trophy is a trophy so why not go as far as we can in the Europa League?
"But we want to stay in this competition first."
