Manchester City skipper Vincent Kompany has laughed off Yaya Toure's birthday moans. The inspirational centre-half could not resist poking a little fun when probed further and asked how he would react if the Belgian president forget to honour his birthday.
"I would absolutely quit the national team if I did not get a huge cake for my birthday," Kompany said with a smile.
Pressed about the issue, he added: "Listen, I can honestly not discuss this.
"I feel I am so far away from what has happened so although I would love to give you an answer, I just couldn't because I've not followed up what happened."
