Manchester City skipper Vincent Kompany is determined for last season's league triumph not to be a one-off.

Champions City face Chelsea in the Community Shield at Villa Park on Sunday.

Kompany said: "We have laid foundations and now we want to win more.

"Now is the time to build the culture of winning. If we do that then we can be one of the most successful clubs for a long time."
