Man City skipper Kompany insists no bad blood with Mancini

Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany has played down reports of a suggested bust-up between and he departed manager Roberto Mancini.

Rumours propose that Kompany and Mancini did not see eye to eye for the last few months of the Italian's reign at Eastlands but the Belgian centre-half has dismissed that notion.

"No, I think out of experience you have different managers and different styles," said Kompany when quizzed on the mooted breakdown.

"There is not one manager who can say he knows it all. Even the best managers in the world have deficiencies. You learn from every manager.

"I have learned a certain way from (Belgium manager Marc) Wilmots, I have learned from Mancini and I learned from (former City boss) Mark Hughes. I have concentrated on the positives."
