Manchester City signing Samir Nasri denies he quit Arsenal for the money.
Nasri tripled his wages with a £175,000-a-week deal when he left Arsenal for the Etihad Stadium for a £24million fee.
But France star Nasri, 24, is angry at suggestions that the thought of cash came before cups.
He insisted: "Money is not really a factor. I can let people think what they like.
"Me, I know my choice. It was about football and we will see that at the end of the season when we lift a trophy and talk about my choice again. People who talk about money will see they are wrong."
