Manchester City striker Larry Kayode is delighted with his move to Girona.

Snapped up from Austria Wien last week, Kayode joins Girona on a season-long loan.

"I feel that I have arrived at the right place to grow. I came to learn a lot this year and I hope to score many goals," he declared.

"My late father told me I would go far and play in a great league. That is why, when I was presented with this opportunity, I did not think about it.

"Girona are a great team and I want to prove my worth to try to take the team to the highest positions in the standings."
