New Manchester City signing Adam Johnson is trying to avoid the 'new Robinho' tag.
Johnson arrived at Eastlands from Middlesbrough just days after Robinho was allowed to leave City to join Santos on-loan.
He laughed: "A few of my old team-mates have been giving me a bit of banter, saying I've come to City to replace Robinho.
"He was the British transfer record signing and he's gone and I've come in. But I'm not thinking about replacing Robinho or anyone else. I'm just going to try and be my own person.
"I'm a bit star-struck at some of the players to be honest. It's strange but I'll get used to it. I have to try and not get carried away but I'm proud to be here."
