Valeri Bojinov admits he accepted a move to Manchester City after hearing nothing from Torino this summer.

The Fiorentina striker has signed for City today and said: "The club in Italy that appealed to me most was Torino, but I heard nothing from them.

"So, therefore I'm happy to be going to England. Manchester City is a great opportunity."
