Man City signing Boateng confident ending row with brother Kevin-Prince

Manchester City signing Jerome Boateng is confident of ending his row with his Portsmouth playing brother Kevin-Prince.

The pair are not on speaking terms after Kevin-Prince accused Jerome of not supporting him after his FA Cup final tackle on Chelsea's Michael Ballack ended the Germany captain's World Cup chances.

Ghana midfielder Kevin-Prince could face Germany's Jerome today.

"Strange things happen within families," said Jerome. "In any family there will be times when people have problems and issues - and that's what happened with us. I think and hope that it will sort itself out. We've always been close. He's my brother and I wish him all the best, always.

"We had a difference of opinion about something that happened in football but I don't think this is going to last forever, I think we're going to fix this."
