Manchester City signing Benjamin Mendy has likened Pep Guardiola to his former Marseille coach Marcelo Bielsa.

Mendy joined City this week from AS Monaco.

And on Bielsa and Guardiola, he declared: "He (Guardiola) likes to attack the players and tease them, he is in the same line as Marcelo Bielsa, they are part of the same football family, it can only be good things for me and the rest of the team."

Interestingly, Guardiola has declared Bielsa a coaching role model for him.
