Manchester City record signing Sergio Aguero isn't bothered if Carlos Tevez stays or goes this season.
He spoke at length to another Argentina ace, Pablo Zabaleta, about joining City - but only briefly to the man who lifted the FA Cup for the club in May.
Aguero, 23, said: "Me and Carlos are friends, we've played together in the national team. But it's up to him what he wants to do.
"I spoke to Pablo a lot because I know him from the Olympics and from Holland. He is more than a team-mate, he is a good friend.
"I have spoken with Carlos, too - I do not have the same relationship with him as I do with Pablo, because I have known him for longer. But he is resting now on holiday and I have to respect that.
"If he is here, then that's fine, but if not I will adapt without him. Things are as they are.
"I have only been with the group for one day and I have to adapt as quickly as possible."
