England keeper Karen Bardsley has joined Manchester City Ladies on a two year deal. The US-born player said: "I'm thrilled and ready to get started. I'm looking forward to playing my part in the club's bid to become a dedicated and competitive team that can challenge for the title."

Although born in California, Bardsley chose to represent England internationally as her parents are from Greater Manchester.
