Manchester City have handed trials to Union Sint-Gillis defender Tomas Diaz Navarrete.

Despite his club's third division status in Belgium, Navarrete has been offered trials by City and is currently training with the mega spenders. He is known to City scouts through his time in Italy at Triestina.

Coach Dante Brogno told Sudpresse: "He was there last year and the City people told him to come back in a year's time. He's currently there now."

Navarrete's trial at City will last ten days.
