AC Milan veteran Pippo Inzaghi is a shock target for Manchester City.

Corriere dello Sport says the 36 year-old striker is considering his options after being frozen out by coach Leonardo at Milan this season.

Inzaghi is off contract in June and he has Parma, Sevilla and Atletico Madrid all keen to take him off Milan's hands. However, City are also being linked ahead of the January market.

A move to Chelsea has also been mooted, where Inzaghi's former coach Carlo Ancelotti could use the veteran as cover for his departing African Nations Cup pair Didier Drogba and Salomon Kalou.
