Manchester City are set to sign Aussie youngster Luke Brattan.

Fox Sports reports City have secured a transfer for Brattan, with his current club Brisbane Roar preparing for his exit.

Brattan, a former Australia U-20 star, is excited by his 'once in a lifetime chance' to join City.

He said: "I'll meet up with my agent (Ritchie Hinton) when I get to England and he'll go over some things with me.

"City is a massive club and this will be a once in a lifetime chance."
