Manchester City are closing in on a deal for Lazio fullback Aleksandar Kolarov.
Lazio have lined up Portsmouth's Nadir Belhadj as a replacement for their 24-year-old, who is said to have now agreed terms on a long-term contract at Eastlands.
City boss Roberto Mancini is a big fan of the tall, powerful Kolarov, who can also play in midfield.
The Daily Mail says sources in Italy say the deal is expected to be confirmed before the end of the week.
