Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini remains keen on Fiorentina winger Alessio Cerci.

Earlier this season, Mancini admitted he had an approach for Cerci knocked back by Fiorentina over the summer.

And it's emerged that City scout Attilio Lombardo was in the stands to see Cerci in action on Sunday against Genoa, but the midfielder did not take the field.

City will face competition from Juventus should Fiorentina indicate a willingness to sell in January.
