Manchester City defender Pablo Zabaleta has praised the signing of Eliaquim Mangala.
The 23-year old French centre-half completed his £32million move to the English champions on Monday and his new teammate believes it is a great addition to an already strong squad.
"He's only 23, I can't believe it but sometimes this is what you need for a centre-back in the Premier League," the Argentine right-back told Sky Sports.
"He's physically strong; he's really good in the air. He's also good technically so he looks a very good player."
Mangala has joined City from Portuguese giants FC Porto where he has been since arriving from Standard Liege in 2011.
