Yaya Toure has backed Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany to deliver the goods against Barcelona this week.
Belgian centre-half Kompany has been struggling for form and has made some high profile errors of late but midfield ace Toure, who missed the Champions League Round of 16 first leg last month due to suspension, has shown support for his under-fire skipper.
"Every player has some doubt, some problems, it's part of football," Toure said of Kompany.
"Sometimes you can have ups and down but he will have full focus because this game is very important for us. I hope tomorrow we will deliver."
Man City will look to overturn their 2-1 deficit from the initial bout when they take on the Blaugrana at Camp Nou in the return leg on Wednesday night.
