Man City's Weiss unlikely to return to Rangers

Vladimir Weiss will return to Manchester City and says he is unlikely to again play for Scottish champions Rangers.

The 21-year old Slovakian winger had a brilliant start to the Scottish Premier League season before sustaining a season-ending foot injury which forced him out of the run-in.

During the campaign he stated that he loved the club and would be happy to be back but now it seems as though an Ibrox return is not on the cards.

I spoke to Coisty [Ally McCoist ] about it on Sunday but I really don't know if it's going to happen," Weiss told the Daily Record.

"I want to stay but it might not be possible.

"(Roberto) Mancini has told me I need another year out on loan but he also said he wants me to go to a better league than the SPL.

"They would want me to go to Spain, Italy, Germany or even another club in England. But they definitely want me to go to a decent league."
