Manchester City winger Vladimir Weiss is delighted that he has been loaned out to Espanyol.
The Slovakian international will suit up for the Spanish La Liga club on a season-long loan after finding it difficult to break in to Roberto Mancini's first team and is looking forward to getting started with his new club.
"I'm very happy to have the chance to be playing in the top Spanish league for such a big club, which EspanyolBarcelona certainly are," he told denniksport.sk.
"I will do my best to show myself in the best light possible. Hopefully this competition will suit me and we will manage to win as many fixtures as possible.
"Espanyol have a beautiful stadium and the people here are nice. I don't even have to speak about the city which is wonderful.
"I'm glad everything has gone well and that I will be able to join the team in less than two weeks."
