Man City's Tevez at peace with club shift

Manchester City star Carlos Tevez has revealed he believes he is now at the right club after making the move from crosstown rivals Manchester United last summer.

The Argentine ace has hit form of late and says it is due to the fact that he feels comfortable at his new club and is a part of everything that happens which makes him feel wanted.

"The welcome I received from the moment I arrived at City has been very special," said Tevez. "I was made to feel loved and this means a lot to any footballer.

"I feel I've shown I'm at the right club now. Everyone knows how important the fans are at this club and, if I make them happy, it's an honour.

"I think the United fans know I tried hard. City is my club now, a place where I feel part of everything. Maybe this wasn't always the way at United.

"I wasn't happy about some things there, but it's still a great club with fantastic players and history.

"Now I think about doing well for Manchester City first. They're my team now and I know that if I don't perform, there are others who'll take my place.

"I had an important time at United, but I want to look forward. I feel good physically and my form is good, but I must pay tribute to my new team-mates."
