The City playmaker is refusing to read anything into such reports and claims there are still a handful of sides that could get their hands on the silverware.
"It will not just be a duel between Manchester United and City."
"This season we are better and our aim is to win big titles," he added.
The World Cup winner feels he is a better player now than he was when he arrived at Eastlands in the summer of 2010.
"In one year I have improved a lot," he said.
"Since arriving in England I think I am a better player.
"I am now more complete than I was during my time in Valencia. I think the pace of the English game has helped me."
