Manchester City striker Roque Santa Cruz is set to have a medical with Spanish club Real Betis this weekend.
The Paraguay international has been heavily linked with a summer move away from Eastlands after falling out of favour over the past few seasons and it appears as though he will get his wish by finding the exit door.
Santa Cruz returned to Blackburn Rovers on loan last season but struggled with form and fitness at Ewood Park and went back to City basically looking for a new home.
Recent reports suggest he will undergo a medical with the Seville-based outfit before signing a permanent deal with the Verdiblancos who gained promotion to La Liga by taking out the Segunda Divison title last season.
