Manchester City midfielder Robinho will be back in action against Wigan this weekend.

The Brazilian star has been struggling with an ankle injury of late but manager Mark Hughes confirmed his availability on the club's official website.

"Robbie would have been close to playing last weekend and would definitely have played some part," Hughes said.

"He trained yesterday and will train for the rest of the week."
