Man City's Richards worried about England future

Manchester City defender Micah Richards admits he may struggle to make England's World Cup squad.

The 25-year old right-back has played 13 times for the Three Lions but has not figured under Roy Hodgson and feels time is running out ahead of next summer's tournament in Brazil.

"I can't help thinking that, unless there are injuries, it probably won't happen," he said.

"It's all about opinions and I hope Roy Hodgson will give me the chance to force my way into the squad.

"Picking up niggling injuries isn't helping my cause so I need to keep fit, do my best and see what happens."
