Manchester City defender Micah Richards believes Manchester United's Phil Jones can go on to captain England.
The 19-year old central defender has come on in leaps and bounds since his shift to Old Trafford from Blackburn Rovers in the summer and his England youth international teammate is confident he will one day lead the Three Lions.
"Phil Jones is going to be England captain one day. He could play in midfield. He's got everything: pace, reads the game well, is good on the ball," Richards told The Guardian.
"He's at the right club as well because Sir Alex Ferguson promotes young players."
