Man City's Pellegrini not thinking about Leicester's table position

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini is not booking in a victory for his side when they meet Leicester City on Saturday.

The reigning Premier League champions travel to the King Power Stadium to take on the Foxes who are currently sitting at the foot of the standings having not won since their 5-3 win over Manchester United in September.

On the other hand, City have won six in a row in all competitions but that is no reason to suggest they will get maximum points over Nigel Pearson's struggling side according to Pellegrini.

"Well maybe it has been a difficult start but I think this is a very good team," he said of the Foxes.

"They beat Manchester United and they lost against Liverpool but in a game where the players played very well, so we are not thinking in which position is less at this moment.

"We must think that if we want to win we must play in the same we are doing in the last weeks.

"We are never failing in our trust. We try to recover points in Premier League from Chelsea and also to continue in the Champions League. At the moment, we have achieved the target that we had for this moment of the season. "We hope in the future we can continue going the same way."
