Romania have selected Costel Pantilimon in their squad for the World Cup playoff with Greece this week and next.
The Romanians take on the Greeks in Athens on Friday before hosting in Bucharest next Tuesday and will have Manchester City goalkeeper Pantilimon among them as reward for breaking into the first team at club level.
Pantilimon has been brought in to replace Steaua Bucharest's Ciprian Tatarusanu who has a back problem and will now contest with AS Roma veteran Bogdan Lobont and Astra Giurgiu's Silviu Lung Jr for a starting spot in Victor Piturca's side.
