Man City's Navas fully aware of Roma's Totti threat

Manchester City midfielder Jesus Navas is well aware just how much of an attacking threat Francesco Totti possesses.

The Italian veteran continues to produce for AS Roma despite his 38 years and showed his class when scoring the equaliser when the two sides met in the Champions League in late September.

Ahead of the all-important Group E meeting in Rome tomorrow night, Navas spoke of the Totti factor but was quick to make sure that the Giallorossi's other key players will not be forgotten.

"We know the threat that Totti brings. He's a top quality performer and has a good eye for goal," Navas told Sky Sports.

"As we know from the game at the Etihad, he's got a huge goal threat in him and we must be wary of that but we must pay attention to all the quality player's Roma possess in order to be fully prepared.

"The challenge for us is to think about the Rome team as a whole. We are certainly aware of what they bring as a unit but we most focus solely on our own job and the danger we can pose them."

Navas and his City teammates require a win over Roma at the Stadio Olimpico in their final group fixture if they are to progress to the Round of 16 of the Champions League.
