Samir Nasri has joined the chorus of Manchester City players to sing the praises of manager Manuel Pellegrini.

The Chilean guided City to the 2013/14 Premier League title in his first campaign in England, making it the first league title he has won since arriving in European football with Villarreal in 2004.

After the triumph, French ace Nasri was full of praise for the former Real Madrid and Malaga boss who has finally broken his European league title duck.

"I'm so happy for the manager because it's his first title in Europe,” Nasri, who scored in the 2-0 win over West Ham United, told Sky Sports.

"He remained calm the whole season. It was a pleasure to work for him.

"It's an amazing feeling. It's my second league in three years. It was an amazing league all year."
