Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini believes captain Carlos Tevez is the best player in the Premiership who is capable of scoring top goals.
The Argentine took his tally to 14 goals in 20 league matches with a brace in the 4-3 win over Wolves on Sunday, prompting Mancini to heap adulation on the star striker.
"At this moment, Carlos is the best player in the Premier League at scoring special goals," said Mancini.
"His first against Wolves was fantastic. Only a top player can score a goal like that, Carlos, me, ha ha," he joked.
"Seriously, it was the kind of goal Diego Maradona used to score."
