Man City's Mancini: This team is better than I thought

Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini believes his side is capable of climbing up the Premier League table and is good enough to even clinch the title this season.

Mancini took over the club on December 19 and since then has guided his side to two wins from two matches and after the latest victory - a 3-0 away win over Wolves - said the team was a lot better than he first thought and was remaining positive going forward.

"Everything is realistic," said Mancini, whose side are sixth. "The team is better than I thought.

"We have another 18 games so it is possible. If we play in this manner and stay concentrated it is possible.

"I think we have a good team and if we play well and don't pass it long, we can at least arrive at the top four. But I think we don't look at the position now.

"We must play and win and in two months we look at the position. Right now it is important we play well and improve."
