Man City's Mancini ready to let Adebayor go…but only when Balotelli is fit

Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini has revealed he is prepared to sell Emmanuel Adebayor but not before Mario Balotelli returns to the pitch. The City manager is looking to sell some of his unplayed stars in January with Shaun Wright-Phillips and Roque Santa Cruz set to depart and now Adebayor is another player who could be on his way out at Eastlands.

"A lot of teams want Emmanuel but at the moment we have to wait for Mario Balotelli who is injured," he said.

"Maybe Manu will leave but we have another 20 days, so we have time to make a decision.

"If we lose three or four, we might end up in a situation where we don't have enough players for the remainder of the season."

Balotelli is currently sidelined with a knee injury and is expected to, at the very least, miss a month.
