Man City's Mancini happy for Torres but more focused on Chelsea

Manchester City manager Roberto Manincini admits he was happy to see Fernando Torres score on the weekend but will not be focusing on him tomorrow night.

City host Chelsea in the Premier League on the back of the Blues' 5-2 FA Cup quarter-finals win over Leicester City in which Torres broke a five-month goal drought with a brace in a vintage performance.

And although Mancini is pleased for the Spaniard, he will not be worrying too much about him as he admits the entire Chelsea will be tough enough to combat.

"I am happy for Torres, I like him as a guy and a player. He scored again because he deserved this," Mancini said.

"I don't know what will happen tomorrow but I am happy for him. But we know tomorrow we play not against Fernando, but against Chelsea. Chelsea are a top team."

And the Italian admits he is looking forward to going up against Roberto Di Matteo who has won four from four since taking the reins from Andre Villas-Boas.

"I am happy to meet Di Matteo, he is a good manager, he did very well at West Brom," he added.

"Now he is continuing to do very well with Chelsea, but tomorrow I hope we can win.

"Chelsea are a good team but they were before with Villas-Boas."
