Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini feels that Sunday's FA Cup opponents, Leicester City, certainly deserved the 2-2 draw the managed at Walkers Stadium.
City fell behind in the opening minute when Sol Bamba netted in his first Leicester start but the Premier League club rallied thanks to goals from James Milner and Carlos Tevez. Not to be outdone, Leicester captain Andy King scored just after the hour-mark to set up a replay at Eastlands - an outcome which was deserved according to Mancini.
"I think that is a good result for both teams. Leicester played very well. They did not deserve to lose this game," he said.
"For us, it was also important because now we understand that if we want to win the FA Cup, we have to play at 100%.
"When you play against a team in the Championship, it is never easy.
"Because we want to go to the final, it is important when we play other teams that we have to focus on the game.
"We conceded a goal after just one minute, we slept for two or three minutes.
"But we improved during the game and scored two good goals."
