Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini has admitted that he would be prepared to leave his post at Eastlands if the Italian national team job happened to come up.
Mancini has said he misses life in Italy after spending his entire football career there until moving to England last year and would welcome taking over the Azzurri if the job ever came his way.
"You cannot say no to the national team," he said. "I would love to coach Italy one day.
"No, the Italian FA did not contact me. So I cannot tell you what my answer would have been. But sooner or later it will happen."
