Belgium captain Vincent Kompany insists the national team players are happy to leave the decision-making process to manager Marc Wilmots and his coaching staff.
There is potential for some in-house squabbling after Wilmots opted to bring Manchester United young gun Adnan Januzaj into his squad for the World Cup despite him not having played in any of the qualifiers.
Everton's Kevin Mirallas said recently that it would be unfair if Januzaj was to make the squad for Brazil after only just pledging his allegiance to the country of his birth but Kompany insists that all players would be welcomed into the Rode Duivels setup.
"Everyone is, first of all, happy to be in the selection," Kompany said at a press conference on Manchester City's post-season tour of Abu Dhabi.
"Then ultimately it is the manager's job to make a decision and I think we are all quite happy to just leave it to the manager and trust him for the decisions he makes.
"We have great players in the team so hopefully for the World Cup we will have a great performance as well.
"We are just always happy to welcome new players, always."
Januzaj is joined by fellow uncapped players Koen Casteels (Hoffenheim) and Divock Origi (Lille) in Belgium's 24-man provisional squad for the 2014 World Cup.
