Vincent Kompany says it as an honour to skipper a Belgium squad full of talented players.
The Manchester City captain finds himself amongst the likes of Marouane Fellaini, Mousa Dembele, Eden Hazard and Thomas Vermaelen and believes that big things can come from the current crop.
Ahead of World Cup qualifiers against Wales (in Cardiff on Friday) and Croatia (in Brussels on Tuesday), Kompany is eyeing a successful era for Belgium to show the world that there is much more to the nation than chocolate and waffles.
"I'm proud of all of them," he said.
"There are almost too many to name now, there are so many Belgian guys now in the Premier League.
"When I signed four years ago I was the first, then Fellaini came just after that and Vermaelen.
"Ever since it has been a very good competition for Belgian players.
"Not only do we showcase our talent in the Premier League but I hope at the international level as well now.
"We do sell a few beers as well - but we do have a few more things than chocolate and waffles!"
