Vincent Kompany is already looking ahead to next season after missing out on the Premier League title.

The Manchester City captain could only watch on as Chelsea claimed the 2014/15 premiership with a 1-0 win over Crystal Palace on Sunday.

The victory ended any slight chance reigning champions City had of defending their title but Kompany, who congratulated Belgium teammates Thibaut Courtois and Eden Hazard on their triumph, is determined to have the piece of silverware back at Etihad Stadium as soon as possible.
