John Guidetti has helped last season's loan club Feyenoord by recommending them one of his Manchester City teammates.
The Swedish striker, who scored 20 goals in 23 appearances whilst on loan with the Dutch club last season, has informed Feyenoord about City teammate Omar Elabdellaoui and the Rotterdam outfit have taken heed of his advice.
20-year old Norwegian midfielder Elabdellaoui has joined Feyenoord on a season-long loan with Guidetti revealing he pointed him out to club officials.
"I know he's a player the fans will love. When Omar asked me about Feyenoord, I told him it's a club he could develop perfect. Look at me, I had a year to never forget."
Eladbellaoui added ahead of Friday's medical: "This step is good for my career and my development.
"Feyenoord is a top club in Holland where I can play for 50,000 fans.""I told the club that Omar is a player who fits perfectly at Feyenoord," he told Voetbal International. "He's physical strong, fast and technically good. He can play as a left or right-winger or as an attacking midfielder.
