Manchester City winger Adam Johnson admits it would be 'devastating' and 'disastrous' if the club failed to win this season's Premier League title.
City sit three points clear at the top of the table ahead of reigning champions Manchester United after 21 matches and Johnson says it is simply up to the Eastlands club to continue picking up points in order to take the English title to avoid a potential catastrophe.
"Obviously the position we've got ourselves in, it is up to us not to give it away now.
"We're top of the league by three points, it is up to us to not make mistakes, but me and the lads don't really want to think about that.
"Everyone knows we deserve to be where we are now and to throw it away would be a disaster for me personally.""I would be devastated if we didn't," Johnson told Sky Sports News.
