Manchester City star Elano is being linked with a January transfer move to Lazio.

After a positive start to his stint with City, Elano has reportedly fallen out with boss Mark Hughes and may be looking for somewhere to reignite his career.

Lazio seems the perfect place as they need an injection of quality after hitting a rough patch during the current season.

President Claudio Litoto has identified Elano as a player who could turn around the fortunes of the Biancocelesti and the fact that the 27-year old holds an Italian passport would make a move seem more likely.
