Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko says the arrival of Stevan Jovetic is a major bonus ahead of the 2013/14 season.
City begin their campaign with a Monday night meeting at home against Newcastle United and Dzeko suggests the players are confident ahead of the new season, especially following Jovetic's shift from Fiorentina.
"We are fully prepared for what is coming," Dzeko told Anadolija.
"We all know how Jovetic played in Italy.
"He's the right reinforcement for our team. He plays close to me and I'm very happy because of that.
"I believe that we'll work well together. He already feels at home. It was easy for him to adapt as he has me, Matija (Nastasic) and Aleksandar (Kolarov) here."
